We had 3 wonderful nights in the Arklow Bay. The production and standard gets better each year.
Naoimh put together a wonderful programme with a great selection of material from the best West End and Broadway shows along with some of our and your favourite Christmas songs. I dont know where she gets the energy and inspiration from.
Martina really worked the cast hard giving them plenty of fantastic choreography which really brought the show to life. An amazing young lady and a joy to work with.
Showstoppers is Avonmore's main fundraiser. Although it wasnt as financially sucessful as we might have hoped it was overall a wonderful 3 nights entertainment and a joy to perform for all involved.
Apart from being a fundraiser, Showstoppers is considered the 2nd event in our year after our main show at Easter. It is a great showcase for many individual performers and for our society as a whole. Naoimh always encourages new material and more importantly gives as many of our members as possible a chance to shine.
