AIMS Awards Results 19/06/10
Congratulations to Barry Ryan on his success in Killarney.
Barry won the Best Stage Management Award for his work on "Seussical". This was Barry's first nomination and first Award. Barry is a very valued member of Avonmore and he has been working Back Stage with Avonmore for 24 years now.
Well done also to Martina Lynch and Jim Furlong who were runners up in their respective categories.
Martina was nominated for Best Choreography. A wonderful achievement for this young lady who choreographed her very first musical this year. I'm sure she will have many more nominations in her career which is only starting.
This was Jim Furlong's second time to be nominated in 3 years. This time he was a runner up. On the last occassion he was triumphant winning the Award for his Front Of House Work on "Some Like It Hot" in 2007. Jim works tirelessly every year on our behalf. Thanks Jim and Well Done.
