Avonmore AGM 2011

Thank you to everyone who attended our recent AGM in the Arklow Bay Hotel. It was a very productive meeting. 2010/201 was another great year for Avonmore and one which resulted in 3 AIMS Award nominations and Two Awards for Best Front of House(Accepted by Jim Furlong) and Best Supporting Actress Amy Penston. Now it is time to push on with plans for next year's productions. The committee will be meeting shortly and as soon as we decide on future projects we will post it on the website.

On behalf of Avonmore I would like to thank Paula Mc Loughlin, Niamh Dunne, Patrick Bracken and Stacey Myler for all their hard work on committe and their time and dedication which they gave freely and tirelessly to ensure that our productions were the best that they could be. I hope they will all be back on committee again soon.

I would also like to welcome Danielle Armstrong and Michael Russell onto the committee for the first time. I hope they enjoy the experience. It is hard work but very rewarding.

I would also like to welcome Kerry Reid back onto committee after a break of 1 year. She couldnt stay away.

To the rest of the committee I say congratulations on your reelection. You know what is expected from you, you always deliver, so I know you are as excited as I am looking forward to the year ahead.
